NEW DELHI: Integrated edible oil FMCG company, K S Oils, on Tuesday said it is eyeing to achieve annual revenue of one billion dollar through its Singapore-based subsidiary over the next five years.
"The company aims to generate annual revenue of one billion dollar by the year 2014 through K S Natural Resources (KSNR),'' K S Oils said in a statement. KSNR, a Singapore-based subsidiary, which has been awarded the 'International Headquarters' status by the Singapore Economic Development Board, aims to become a leading agri-commodity player with interests in palm plantations, oil mills, export and import of edible oils and other value added areas like logistics, it said.
K S Oils' international investment and acquisitions will be led through its subsidiary and Singapore will be the centre of its global operations, it said. "Over the past 12 months, we have acquired over 20,000 hectares of palm plantation land in Indones ia and Malaysia and set up our international base in Singapore - both of which are proof of our commitment and passion for becoming a true MNC agri-commodity player from Asia. I trust Singapore will be our able partner in this journey,'' the company's Ma naging Director, Mr Sanjay Agarwal said. Kalash and Double Sher are the two leading edible oil brands of the company. - PTI
